We've now gone over some of the possibilities that AI can provide, while also taking a look at the dangers that it may present in the future. Now, it's time to take a look back. What does AI really mean to you personally? How does it affect your life every day? Do you see AI as more of a risk, instead of an opportunity?
We encounter AI every day even in some really basic day-to-day functions, like for example in traffic control. The AI keeps track of the traffic and controls the traffic lights depending on the number of cars and distances on the lanes. AI also recommends similar music to us based on our listening history. We really don't pay attention to it, but what if one day AI just disappears? Surely then we would notice that traffic lights aren't working and the music recommended is way out of our preferred taste.
AI is still a fairly new field of study, so we are not yet there for the machines work to independently without supervision, but we are not far from it.
Below is the flashcards are some examples of how AI can be integrated into our daily lives.
