Targeting first-year students, this master’s level advanced course provides a clear understanding of Advanced Technology Management and Entrepreneurship to the success of organizations. This course introduces various perspectives on entrepreneurship programs in business administration and management that contain a technology management emphasis.
The course provides the students with a holistic understanding of the legal issue relevance in innovation management and entrepreneurship including intellectual property (IP) market trends, IP challenges, and IP rights including copyrights, patents, and trademarks.
The course proceeds by knowing advanced innovation tools and methods, the definition of knowledge management tools including cooperative and networking tools, market intelligence techniques and HR management techniques emphasizing on theirs benefits and roles within the innovation process.
Finally, the last topic is about entrepreneurship process and corporate innovation, the definition of entrepreneurship as a competence, and characteristics of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship types, entrepreneurial ecosystem, as well as identifying and managing entrepreneurship opportunities and risks.
