Welcome to the course about the surrounding new and existing technologies that make the vision for the Internet of Things a possibility for the future. The lessons will familiarize you with the capabilities and methods of these aforesaid technologies.

The lessons will address the architect's role in building a scalable, secure, and enterprise IoT architecture for example when choosing from the different kinds of Cloud Computing Models- "IaaS", "Paas", and "Saas".

Lasting IoT solutions are made possible by technologies that can create a network of billions of devices.

IoT would not function without its parts - the enabling technologies like microcomputing.

The IoT drives the need for developing mobile connection networks that allow faster data transfer and reach farther than before.
